About Mark Stooksbury

I went to Ashland University, Ohio and received a BA with a double major in Professional Video and Public Communications in May of 1996.  During that time I interned for the Fox 28 Kids Club, and the video department of Grant Medical Center.

After college, I worked as a camera operator/editor for David Studios taping and editing weddings, concerts, and video tours.  I also freelanced for Production Partners running camera for high school football and basketball games that was shown on local cable channels.  I worked as a Video Specialist for Otterbein College running camera and switching for their college news program, Otterbein football and basketball, as well as various other community programs for the college.

In 2000 I volunteered for the Army and put my video career on hold.  At that time I was stationed at Fort Campbell and became familiar with the Nashville area.  After serving in Operations Enduring Freedom and Iraqi Freedom, I decided to return to working in video production and moved to Nashville.

In 2006 I started working for Crew One as a "hand" and camera operator on a freelance basis.  In March of 2008 I was hired full time by Accelerated Christian Education as a Production Assistant for their Audio Visual Department and have been recording and editing promotional and training material for them.  Although I have used Media Studio Pro and Avid in the past, I have been using Premiere Pro and the Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium since the beginning of 2009.
